Miriam Coates holds a degree in Humanities, an American Montessori Society (AMS) certification, and works as an environmental educator certified by the Jewish National Fund and the Teva Learning Center. She is a participant in Hazons' Jewish Food Educator Network, Washington State Farm to School, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle's Teacher Certification Program.
